The Equity-League Pension, Health, and 401(k) Trust Funds has some exciting news about making it easier, faster, and less expensive to make your contribution payments to the Funds.
Beginning immediately, Equity-League will now accept electronic ACH payments directly into our bank accounts. This capability will guarantee that your payments will be received in a timely and efficient manner. The average charge for an ACH transaction ranges between $.19 and $.26 depending on the bank. That is cheaper than the cost of mailing your payment and remittance report, which is currently at a minimum rate of $.44. The estimated time for your transaction to post to our account will be approximately 24-48 hours from the time the payment is issued. This process will also eliminate the possibility of the “check being lost in the mail”, requiring you to place a stop payment and incurring an additional charge against your bank account(s).
Setting up ACH Transactions is Easy
In order for Equity-League to identify your ACH transaction, please include within the details of the ACH transaction, your 10 digit AEA ID number that we have provided you, the name of the show, and the week ending date associated with each payment.

Please make sure that ACTORS’ EQUITY ASSOCIATION WORKING DUES PAYMENTS ARE NOT PART OF YOUR ACH PAYMENTS TO EQUITY-LEAGUE. Actors’ Equity Association is a separate and legal entity from Equity-League. You are still required to submit your Working Dues payments directly to Actors’ Equity Association.
Remember that you can also submit your weekly contribution reports electronically as well through a simple and secure Drop Box. The following is a step by step process that you can follow if you have not utilized this on line feature as of yet:
- Go to the following URL Address - https://extranet.equityleague.org/dropbox
- From the Home Page, select the button Drop Off.
- By clicking on this button, you will be directed to a screen that allows you to enter in the required information:
a. Information About the Sender This would be the employer information your name, Employer Organization name, and your e-mail address.
b. Information About the Recipient This would be the Equity-League Accounts Receivable Representative’s contact information his/her name, and e-mail address. You will only need to enter the first initial and full last name of the Equity-League Representative in the E-Mail address field as the remainder of the e-mail address (@equityleague.org) is already provided for you.
c. Click on the Browse Tab and select the type of file you will be sending. Once the file has been attached, please add your 10 digit AEA ID number, as well as the name of the show, in the additional space provided.
Once these steps have been completed, you will see a confirmation screen with a summary of what was dropped off. Once the Equity-League Accounts Receivable Representative retrieves the file, you will get an e-mail confirming that the file has been received.
