Mammography Screening

Screening will be provided through Cigna at a physician's request if warranted by health history. In addition, routine mammography screenings will be covered once a year for all women over 35. These benefits are available for facility charges in the outpatient department or ambulatory surgery department of a hospital or in an ambulatory surgery facility for mammography screening for occult breast cancer.

Pap Smear

Cigna will provide coverage for 1 pap smear per calendar for women 18 years of age or older including any related diagnostic tests billed by the hospital. All services must be given by an employee of the hospital, the hospital must bill for the services, and the hospital must retain the money collected for the services.
