Pension Benefits for Canadian Actors
Pursuant to a reciprocal agreement between Actors’ Equity and Canadian Actors’ Equity Association and as agreed to by the Broadway League, Canadian Actors who complete and submit the Pension Designation Form to the Equity-League Fund Office are entitled to a 9% contribution to the 401(k) and no Pension contribution.
Producers are asked to copy and distribute the forms to any Canadian Actors you are employing. Additional forms can be obtained by calling the Equity-League Benefits Fund Office, 212-869-9380, or Actors’ Equity’s bonding department, 212-869-8530.
Reciprocal benefits between Actors' Equity and Canadian Actors' Equity Association Forms
- Use the appropriate Pension Designation Form to Designate your pension benefits to your applicable union (Actors’ Equity or CAEA). Pre-Retirement Spousal Rejection Form when you are naming someone other than your spouse as beneficiary.
- Fill out the form and all fields.
- Please mail the completed form to the address at the bottom of the form.
