Payment of Employer Contributions
What employers need to know
Because the Fund Office no longer has office space that allows us to receive remittances and payments from employers, you are strongly encouraged to remit weekly pension, health, and 401(k) contribution payments electronically. If you are unable to do so, send a check to our lockbox (at the address noted below). Contribution amounts are dictated by the terms of your contract with Actors’ Equity Association.
Deadlines and penalties
Pension, health, and 401(k) reports and contributions are due by the Friday of the week following the week in which the work was performed. Late payments are subject to interest.
Pension and Health Fund payments: Following a two-week grace period, interest is assessed at the prime rate plus 2%, effective immediately.
401(k) Fund payments: Following a two-week grace period, interest is assessed at the prime rate plus 2%, retroactive to the original due date.
Electronic payments
To ensure the timely receipt of your weekly pension, health and 401(k) contributions, Equity-League accepts automated clearinghouse (ACH) and/or direct wire payments that are deposited directly into our accounts. In most cases, wire payments are posted the day the transactions are made. ACH payments typically post within 24 to 48 hours.
When you remit your weekly contributions, you’ll also need to submit your weekly contribution report to Equity-League.
When you make electronic contribution payments, be sure to include the following information:
- The 10-digit Actors’ Equity ID number we have provided you
- The name of the production
- The week ending date associated with each payment

Important
Never send Actors’ Equity dues payments to the Equity-League Benefit Funds accounts. Actors’ Equity is a separate legal entity from Equity-League Benefit Funds. You must remit any working dues directly to Actors’ Equity.
Likewise, never send benefit contributions or reports to Actors’ Equity Association.
Payments by mail
You are encouraged to submit electronically. If you must submit by mail, please submit a single check for all contributions, payable to Equity-League Accounts Receivable. If an employer operates under more than one agreement with Actors’ Equity (e.g., LOA/PP contract and SPT contract), contribution payments may not be combined.
Be sure to include your 10-digit agreement number.
